How is the total cost figured?

I Start with a sum total estimate with job details including time,rate and materials. the total doesnt change unless the home owner adds something or we run into unpredicted problems that require significantly more time an materials.

Is there a legal signed contract protecting business owner and customer?

Yes, We will have a simple to read and understand legal binding contract that must be signed prior to starting the job.

What happens if later down the road a problem arises, will I stand behind my work?

We 100% will stand behind any job we complete no matter how small or big as long as our company purchased all the materials that was used for that job. We can not guarantee the quailty of any materials unless we supply them.

What all options is there to pay the final bill, is there a required downpayment due at the time of signing the contract?

We accept checks payable to Hochstetler Remodeling and renovations, cash and are in the process of offering credit card payments. There is a 10% required downpayment that is due when signing the contract.
